Movie Avatar Signature Tutorial

Ok, today we’re going to make a signature

First, opet a new canvas 400×150

We will use this stock :    http://i45.tinypic.com/do9zqa.jpg

Place it and resize it

Now duplicate it six times. Now you have 7 avatar layers, and 1 transparent, fill that transparent layer with color #2d2d2d

Now we will change blending on every layer except first one(background)

Here’s the pic

Now we got this :

Now, use smudge tool to get something like this

Now add this fractal, and set its blending to Linear Dodge

Now, we have this

Now add some textures(download my texture pack 1)

And color her eyes

Add gradient maps and photo filters

Filter – Render – Lighthing Effects

Now, we will add dreamy effect. Make new layer, Apply Image, Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur – 2,0%, blending – lighten – opacity 40 %

Now we will make a new layer again, apply image. Now, Image – Adjustments – Brightness/Contrast

Add sparkle brushes if you want

New layer, Apply image, Image – Adjusments – Exposure

Now use sharpen tool, add lightsource and stroke.

You’re done now.
