Create Cool & Funny Text Tutorial

Today, we’ll learn how to make cool and funny text in photoshop.

Ok, open up a new canvas size 600×400 and fill it with any color.
Use Text Tool and use Lucida Sans Unicode(70pt,Strong)
and type in something.

Next, right click on the text layer – Blending Options
Gradient Overlay – #59b1be to #78d8e6(Linear)
Stroke – Size(8), Position(outside), Color(White)

It should look like this


Next, right click on this button and choose Create Layers.

Save this paper texture to your computer and open it in photoshop.

Okay, we have 4 layers, place paper texture above the “PSDSYMPTOM Outer Stroke” layer and resize it.
It should look like this


Now, select paper texture layer, while paper texture layer is selected, PRESS & HOLD CTRL and click on the thumbnail of the outer stroke layer.
It should be selected like this


Now, go to Select – Inverse and press delete key.
And you will get this
