Rendering Hair Tutorial

In this tutorial I will explain you how to render a hair.

We will use this image


Unlock “hair” layer by right click on the layer and select “layer propertis” and press OK.
Now, move to the channels


Remove “Alpha 1″ channel and right click on green chanel and select duplicate channel.
Now, press Ctrl+M and use this settings if you want, like S


Select brush tool and use this settings and brush once over the hair.


Now, press Ctrl+L and use this settings


While green channel is selected click on this button


While is selected, click on the grey area of RGB layer and press “Delete”


You’ll get this, it looks good, but we can get rid of this white lines.


Select “hair” layer and to go Layer – Matting – Remove White Matte and you’ll get this.
