Yahoo Smiley Photoshop Tutorial.
Today I will teach you how to make yahoo smiley in photoshop.

Step 1

Open new file size 600×400.
Select gradient tool and select “radial” and use these colors: #814dd6 to #401c91

Step 2

Select Eclipse Tool and draw a shape.



Hold shift while drawing

Step 3

Right click on the layer of shape layer and choose Blending Options.

Inner Glow



Bevel and Emboss

Step 4

Use pen tool to create mouth. Also you can turn on Grid, very helpful for pen tooling.

Blending Otpions on mouth.

Step 6

Duplicate the shape layer and resize it by holding ALT+Shift


Create a new layer and CTRL+Click on the shape copy layer.
Select gradient tool and use these colors





Use brush tool and make something like that on a new layer.
Ctrl+Click on shape copy layer while new layer is marked to get selection, then go to Select-Inverse and press delete, CTRL+D. Put blending to overlay and oapcity to 60%

Step 7

Create a new layer above main the shape layer and brush with 300px circle brush. Put blending to overlay

Step 8

Using eclipse tool create eyes.

Step 9

Create a selection on the mouth and fill it with white to light blue color. (Gradient – radial tool)

Inner glow to repair edges

Step 10

Create black shape under the teeth and fill it with black and reduce opacity to 60%

Step 11

Create shapes with pen tool or you can use mine and put blending to overlay



Select elliptical rectangular tool and create selection and fill it with black.
Put opacity to to 13% and blur it with gaussian blur – 5

Step 12

Create a new layer and apply image.
Filter – Render – Lens Flare

Step 13

New layer and apply image.
Filter – Render – Lighting Effects
