Create Modern Glossy Icon In Photoshop
Today, I will teach you how to create glossy icon in photoshop.

Step 1

Create new file size 600×400
Use Gradient(radial)tool to fill background, #383838 to #161616.
Select Eclipse Tool and create a shape and name it “main shape”.
Once you crated eclipse right click on the shape layer and select Blending Options.

Step 3

Duplicate the “main shape” layer and rename it to “copy shape”.
Press CTRL+T and resize it while holding Alt+Shift.:

Duplicate “copy shape” layer and rename it to “copy shape 2″.
Resize it while holding Alt+Shift:

Step 6

Step 7

Create new layer and select Pen Tool and draw shape like this:



Blending : overlay, opacity: 10%
While new layer is marked, CTRL+Click on the “copy shape 2″ layer and go to Select-inverse-delete and you’ll get this.
Repeat that process on all shapes.

Step 8

Draw custom shape and change blending to overlay and opacity to 75%.



Add few reflection if you want.

Step 9

Create new layer and apply image.
